Narwhals Are Unicorns Too swatch + stamped turtle nail art

Purchased by me / Kjøpt av meg
(Stamped nail art on light blue glittery base color)

(Narwhals Are Unicorns Too by Chaos & Crocodiles)

I used two coats for this swatch + top coat. The application was good, but I used too thick of a second coat on a few fingers, and that left a "bumpy" edge on a few nails as you can see. The polish has some larger blue and gold glitters, but they have settled on the bottom of the bottle, and I didn't get much of those glitters on my nails.
----------------------------------------------------

So, this weeks theme from FingerFood is St. Patricks Day. We do not celebrate that here, and I also don't really like green. So neither leprechaun nail art or a green mani really appealed to me for this one. But, I decided to try and get a little bit green onto this blue mani, even if it streched this theme faaar =) I made a stamped decal using MoYou London's "Explorer Plate Collection 12", a little turtle stamped in white and colored in with light green paint.

Here are other manis (probably closer to the theme too =) made for the St Patricks Day theme:

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Takk for at du stakk innom bloggen min i dag!

  2. Well, did you know that when St. Patrick was around, he actually chose and wore the color blue? So you're okay with the blue here! :)
